  1. Thanks a ton for the great dinner Friday, Joe. You should patent the chili pizza, or at least give it a cool name. Delicious, to say the least. Thanks for all the work you put into the evening for us. Thanks for the Punch sticker, too.

Thanks for letting us smoke your place out, Jeff. Nothing like smoking fine cigars with friends in a comfortable environment (without anyone bitching about our smoke, without loud music, etc.). It was great to see everyone!

Kinky Friedman Texas Jew Boy: wasn't sure what to expext with a name like this, but I must say I was pleasantly surprised. I experienced slight nutty tastes, good burn, great draw--and a good smoke. 8/10

Grand Habano 3 Siglo: I have not heard of this brand before, and I'm not sure why-as it was great. This smoke got better as I smoked it, and a bit spicy when rolled. Good smoke. 8/10

Kristoff: experienced an immediate sweet taste--even before lighting it. Great tasting cigar, start to finish. 8/10

Looking forward to seeing everyone next month @ Growlers. Happy smoking.

  2. Joe, I have to agree with the other two, FANTASTIC pizza. I know I ate more than my share. You really should think of a way to market that.
Jeff, thank you for your place again. What a great place to smoke and watch a movie that makes me NEVER want to go to Japan. Creepy!

Kinky Friedman - Texas Jewboy - 52 x 6 torpedo. I have no idea what kind of tobacco that was but I was surprised. Most of these "private lables" are kind of iffy, but this was a good even burn and steady draw. The finish got a little long at the end but still a nice selection. 7/10

    Gran Habano 3 Siglos Fuma - 5 x 50 Robusto
I love most of the Siglos line. Plenty of spice, medium to full body and even draw. Good construction considering the single cap on the end. Bargan priced at Cigar International. 7.5/10

    Kristoff - 6 x 52 Toro
Beautiful cigar. Almost a reddish Colorado wrapper. Good oils that made the initial tase sweet. Nice draw, solid dark ash and lots of leather notes. This was by far my favorite of the night. 8/10

  3. I'm glad everyone enjoyed the pizza. I'll make it again sometime. Chili-pizza...how could we go wrong!?

I remember enjoying the Gran Habano-3 Siglos very much. However, I may have to go against the grain on the Kristoff--I experienced a tough draw for the majority of the cigar. I remembering it having a wood flavor. I've been encouraged to this one another shot and I will.

I also had a Cinco Vegas Cask Strength II that Adam was kind enough to give me for the ride home. I really enjoyd this cigar and will be buying one myself.

Thanks again Jeff for letting us smoke up your apartment. Although, I don't think I'll be looking for a wife in Japan anytime soon.
