What is your top pick cigar of 2009? This does not necessarily have to be a cigar that was released this year--it just has to be one that you tried for the first time this year.
Mine? I'd have to say the Nica Libre. What a great smoke!!!

I would pick the Cain F. I do enjoy the Nica Libre alot as well as the other Cains. The Casa Magna was sampled for the first time this year in June (Casa Magna is my #2 this year). I also had another 10/10 this year in the My Father line from Pepin Garcia.
ReplyDeleteOverall I would consider this an excellent year in cigars. That is why I love this blog so much, we can go back and research what we enjoyed (and didn't enjoy thank you very much Mr. Victor Sinclair).

I was introduced to the real world of cigars last fall/winter. So almost every cigar was a new experience for me.
ReplyDeleteThe cigar that I enjoyed the most this year has been the Casa Magna. Nipping at its heels was the Oliva Master Blends III. If price was not a factor, then the MB III would win.
Other great cigars this year worth mentioning:
RP Autumn 2008, HC Habano, Nub Maduro, Cain, Habano, Cain F, Oliva G, Don Pepin Garcia Serie JJ and the Bahia Blu.
